edgar software package provides 2D platform game with a persistent world, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install edgar
edgar is installed in your system.
Make ensure the edgar package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep edgar *
You will get with edgar package name, version, architecture and description in a table
